CBD is one of the bi-products from the cannabis plant, part of the group we call cannabinoids. Unlike its cousin THC, cannabidiol (CBD) does not create the "high" that is usually attributed to the use of Cannabis. Instead, CBD offers many of the other health benefits that people seek. In general, it works as a nervous system relaxant. Some of those impacts include:
. Anti-inflamation
. Anti-convulsant
. Anti-anxiety
. Anti-psychotic
. Antioxidant
. Tension/Stress relief
. Pain relief
To share an analogy, THC to CBD is much like morphine to motrin. THC, and morphine, attack pain by creating a Euphoric state, that can make you feel good. CBD carries more of the "relief." Depending on the relief you are looking for, you can now take CBD in a number ways; such as vapes, tinctures, topicals, edibles, and even traditional smoking. Stick around for future posts, where I'll be going more in depth on the right products to use, in order to treat the right symptoms.
